The Blue Bistro by: Elin Hilderbrand

I have been meaning to read an Elin Hilderbrand novel for a while. This one was recommended to me by a friend and I was able to find it on my library app as an audiobook, so I thought why not.

I was not impressed. I found the characters annoying and not relatable or enjoyable. They were, more or less, overgrown teenagers.

The ending was predictable. Not always a bad thing, but with a book with not much else going for it, this wasn't the best option.

I didn't expect a deep read, but even for a beach read it was very disappointing. I hope to give Elin Hilderbrand another chance, but it will be a while before I do.
