Secrets of the Morning by: V.C. Andrews

The second book of the Cutler series and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite series by the author.

We find Dawn starting school in NYC! Grandmother Cutler is still trying to remain in control over her, but Dawn is making new friends, starting a new life, and finding her way. Until she meets Michael Sutton. Then her life is turned upside down, and Dawn is thrown into one of Grandmother Cutler's circles of hell.

Dawn has a lot to fight for and fight she does. Spoiler alert...she comes out on top.

I found myself cheering Dawn on throughout the book. Although, my eyes got quite the workout...they rolled every time Michael Sutton spoke!

Great book by a great author. I'm ready for the next one! 5 stars!
