This book....WOW!

We meet Franny, a woman who appears to be void of emotion, focused on only one thing....birds. She finally finds a captain willing to take a risk and help her follow the Arctic Terns on their migration to find food. Along the way, she forms unexpected allies and faces her own inner demons.

This was my second book by this author. I loved the first book I read by her, but when I started this one, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. By the end, I was in tears. I watched Franny struggle, I saw into her past, I learned just how much she loves.

Charlotte McConaghy really knows how to get inside the hearts of her readers. As I sit here typing this review, I feel an ache in my heart for all that Franny went through, but love and compassion for all she overcame.

5 stars! I cannot say it enough....Read. This. Book.
