Fairy Tale by: Stephen King

This was my first ever Stephen King book and I don't expect it to be my last.

What would you do if you were the sole inheritor of an old man's estate? A man you hadn't known long and only met by chance? And what if in the shed in the backyard, you found a hole that led you to another world, a world where fairy tales come true...just not in the way you think.

This is exactly what happened to Charlie. What led him down the hole? The opportunity to make his dog live longer, by turning back the years on her life. It worked! But as Charlie finds, fairy tale world isn't perfect.

While in this new land, Charlie finds friends, enemies, and falls in love (but unlike in a fairy tale, their love was not meant to be). It's Charlie's job to get him and his dog, Radar, back home safely. It's his job to keep this new world safe from his own world.

I really enjoyed this book. 4.5 stars.
