I normally do one book per post, but I am a little behind on reviews and I finished these back to back. So I'm going to review them all together.
The Housemaid by: Freida McFadden: Although slow to start, once it got going, it didn't stop! This book read like a movie (which is good, since there is one coming out soon!) and in true Freida fashion had a twist I didn't see coming. I'm itching to finish the series. 5 stars.
The Tenant by: Freida McFadden: Her newest book and my coworker and I couldn't wait to get started (thank you, Kindle Unlimited). I had so many theories and while one of my theories was right, I still didn't completely figure it out. The main character in this one was a man and it was interesting seeing things from his point of view (although I didn't care for him). I couldn't put this book down 5 stars.
The Princess Saves Herself in This One by: Amanda Lovelace: I heard mixed reviews about this one, but I really enjoyed it. This book of poetry was written as a memoir and I could feel the pain she poured onto her pages. I could also feel the moment where she started to heal. There were many times her words hit home with me and I had to stop a minute. I have marked so many pages that I want to go back and read. I purchased this book several years ago, but I'm glad I waited to pick it up. It was needed during this time in my life. 5 stars.
As always, give me your thoughts!
