The Mother-in-Law by: Sally Hepworth

This book and others by this author had been on my to read list for a while, so when the audiobook became available through my local library I jumped on it. I am so glad I did.

I enjoyed the different perspectives. You felt like you knew the characters by the end. You grieved for them, cheered for them, and chastised them. It was like conversing with real people.

While I had guessed what would happen, I was still shocked at the ending. Only a good author can shock you even when you know what's going to happen.

I went and bought three more of her books once I finished this one and I cannot wait to read them.
