I have never read a graphic novel, but this one kept popping up on all of my social media. I LOVE Greek Mythology, so I thought I'd give it a try. It did not disappoint.
This book takes the Greek gods and goddesses and puts them in the modern world. However, their personalities are exactly what you would expect. Zeus is demanding. Persephone is all innocence (until she's not). And Hades...well...he's alluring.
I finished this book in 3 days and am itching to get my hands on volume 2. I give it 5 stars, easily. I never thought I would read a graphic novel, but I am so glad I picked this one up. Moral of the story, step out of your reading comfort zone every now and then. You might be pleasantly surprised.
