Home is Where the Bodies Are by: Jeneva Rose

I listened to this book in two days. Y'all! It was so good! Based on the title and the cover, I thought I knew exactly what this book was about...and sense I was wrong, I think I'll write that book.

This was my first book by Jeneva Rose, and it did not disappoint. I even listened to the acknowledgements! I can't wait to read more by this author.

The book was very well written. Believable characters, a plot that hooks you from the beginning, and some beautifully written lines, such as "I can put out any fire she might start, but I can't extinguish the one burning inside of her."

"Don't trust." These are the last words Beth's mother ever said. We all know last words are important, so these words lead Beth to look a little deeper into the life of her parents and her past.

Along with her siblings, Nicole and Micheal, she starts unraveling threads from the past and digs up long buried secrets. In the end, she learns the truth...not just about her parents, but about others close to her.

5 stars. Everyone should read this book.
