Death Du Jour by: Kathy Reichs

Kathy Reichs is AMAZING. Being the second book in a series, I expected it to be slow and not interesting. I was prepared to not enjoy it and to keep an open mind for future books. But it did not read like a normal sequel. It was fast paced, entertaining, and kept you wanting more. The ending was even more surprising than the ending of her first book.

On top of all of that, you get to see more of Tempe Brennan's family, which always makes a character more relatable.

I have bought all of the Tempe Brennan novels that have been published so far, and I cannot wait to continue this series.
